Question about being an installer?

Fitters are responsible for fittings, fixings, trims, damp-proof membranes (DPM) and foam fills that the products would need.

Installers should be either FENSA certified or Certass registered to be fitting the doors. This is so customers know that the product being installed is done correctly and with quality. Fitters should also have a driver’s license so they are able to travel to jobs without issues.

Installers should have access to their own tools and transportation when doing jobs.

We offer fitters a competitive rates based on area, experience & travel.

Quite a fair bit of experience is required to be an installer to ensure that the work being done is high quality, meaning installers should have a minimum of 5 years of experience.

The way the relationship will work is that we will supply the doors to you, whilst you will install them, so you don’t have to worry about getting them yourselves.

Fitters should survey before the installation to make sure the dimensions of the frame and door match, whilst also looking out for any other potential problems that could occur on the job.

Installers will be responsible for uninstalling the old door and then disposing of it.

Installers will also be responsible for any cleanup after the job, making sure that they haven’t left any hazards and that the door is installed properly.

The doors we will provide you with to install are composite doors, aluminium bi-folding doors, French doors and patio doors.

Installers should have some past experience in fitting these kinds of doors so that there won’t be any issues caused when installing these types of doors in households.
